SOCAR Romania CEO elected vice-president of the Romanian Judo Federation

Mr. Hamza Karimov, SOCAR Romania’s CEO, elected the vice-president of the Romanian Judo Federation (RJF) during the elections to the General Assembly of RJF in the Romanian Olympic and Sport Committee on Monday. The 143 members of the Federation participated at the voting.

Mr. H. Karimov receiving 130 votes, became one of the five vice-presidents of the RJF. Remaining seats of VP are filled by Florin Bercean, Alina Dumitru, John Cosmescu and Daniel Caprara.

Mr. Cozmin Gusa named the President of the Romanian Judo Federation. He received 121 votes, while his main rival Nicholas Trasca has ended with 21 votes.
