AdBlue
AdBlue is a solution that is injected into the vehicle’s exhaust gas stream through a technology called Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). When injected, the solution reacts with nitrogen oxide before leaving the diesel vehicle’s exhaust, breaking it down into harmless nitrogen and oxygen as it enters the air, significantly reducing the number of noxious particles caused by exhaust emissions.
AdBlue is a 32.5% solution of high-purity urea in demineralized water, which is non-toxic and safe to handle. It is non-explosive, non-flammable and not harmful to the environment.
